Builth Vets are happy to offer help and advice to small holders.

We have a team of vets with a wealth of knowledge of farm animals and common problems encountered for small holders.

  • Builth Vets have diverse experience of treating chickens from small holdings. We understand that chickens are often loved as pets and their health and welfare is important to us.

    We have experience in performing surgery and nursing care of chickens and other poultry.

  • We offer the following caprine services:

    Kidding/Caesarean

    Disbudding

    Scanning

    Worm egg counts

  • We have some experience in treating alpacas. We are able to offer castration of males.

  • Builth Vets are able to treat and advise on appropriate pig care. We offer castration of young piglets.
